How old are you and where are you from?
I am 23 years old , born and brought up in Jharkhand,India.
How did you start modeling?
It was when I was in final semester of my engineering that I had got an offer to be a part of a tvc for sakthi masala and thats when I got associated with the print industry and discovered myself as a model and also saw myself on screen..It was a refreshing start indeed.
What was your first big break in the industry?
Well, I did a lot of small ramp shows initially but one thing that turned me into a professional and a groomed model was the beauty pageant Miss Queen of India.. where I was a finalist and was representing Jharkhand. Though I didn’t win the pageant but the grooming sessions were very inspiring and I was at the top 5 and was crowned Miss Beautiful Eyes.. after the pageant, the level of confidence grew in me immensely.
What has been your favorite job so far?
Being a mentor for engineering students and training them for aptitude, soft skills, and technical knowledge for their placements was the best thing i’ve done. I am happy that I have been able to share my knowledge because thats the most noble job in the world.
What is your dream modeling job?
Honestly speaking, I haven’t dreamt of anything as such. I just did what came my way. This field is such that it turns your career overnight. you might be rejected in something but you might also be directed to something better.You never know 
How do you deal with all the traveling required to be a model? How do you cure jet-lag?
OMG..I hate travelling but to travel for shows and shoots with my co models is a great fun and
its becomes more like a holiday besides our work. I am happy that I made some very good friends during my journey of a model and actor. but yes, travelling is very tiring at times so I wait to finish my assignment and get back home and then I sleep for 8-10 hours and then I am all active and all set for my next move.

When you’re not busy modeling, what are some of your favorite things to do?
There are rare times when I am free from work because I am mostly blocked for shootings and shows and presently that I m doing my debut in a kannada movie called ‘Ondu Romantic Crime Kathe’. I hardly get any free time but if at all I do, I spend time with my old pals from school and college so that they do not complain of me that I have forgotten my roots after being in the glamour industry.
If you weren’t a model, what would you want to do?
If not in the glamour field, definitely I would have continued being a mentor for students which I was. Because that work gave me immense inner satisfaction. Being a software engineer, I could have been working in a company.. but thats just not my cup of tea.
Where is your favorite place to travel?
Well I thought about this question a lot.. and every time I was blank.. the truth is tha
t, at the end everyone loves home , that is Jamshedpur where my parents are placed.Though I visit rare but its always refreshing to go back home.

I sometimes go against the diet and pamper my taste buds with sweets like gulab jamun, ras malai, kheer, etc etc.. bengalis just cant resist sweet dishes you know right 
which city in India do you think has the best background for a photo shoot?
Beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder. Photoshoots are the imagination and creativity of the photographer.He can create magic out of anything..so places doesn’t matter..and I am lucky to have worked with the best people.
Who do you aspire to be like? As successful as?
Definitely has to be great indian cricket captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni, since he too is from a small city in jharkhand and made his way to becoming the captain of d team with only his work and no influential support. he inspires me anyday and I want to win a million hearts with my work with all honesty, dedication and patience just like him.
